Bettina Arndt talks with two parents of young teenage sons who suddenly announced they were transgender. Anita is a mother of a 14-year-old whose son was persuaded he was in the wrong body after being subjected to the online influence of a thirty-something trans activist. Bill is a father of a very ill college student whose doctors were prepared to further risk his health with hormone therapy after they decided he was gender dysphoric.
Soon after the filming of this video, Bill’s son died of cancer. The police came to his house and told him his daughter was found unresponsive in her room. It took Bill several minutes to realise they were referring to his son.
We applaud the courage of this brave father and extend our deepest condolences for his tragic loss.
