News Stories on What Men Want

News stories on The Sex DiariesBettina speaking at the Brisbane Writer's Festival in 2009

Since The Sex Diaries was published, Bettina has been interviewed for hundreds of press stories, television and radio programs, both in Australia and overseas. Here are some of her favourite appearances:

  • Richard Fidler's Conversation Hour on the ABC featured a very funny session with Bettina and Linda Jaivin at the Brisbane Writer's Festival.
  • Then there was 'sexpert' Flic Everett, writing in London's Daily Mail. Everett said that reading The Sex Diaries had changed her attitudes and made her realize she had previously lacked compassion for men. "It's been too easy for me to counsel women to have sex only when, where, and how they want it regardless of their partner's feelings.. The Diaries aren't really about sex at all but about the emotions that surround sex with someone you love – fear, intimacy, gratitude, guilt, resentment, loneliness, hope." Read the article.
